OUR PHILOSOPHY:
We place a greater emphasis on education. This educational assistance is our way of passing this tradition on to the new generation.

The assistance award (the award) selection will be primarily based on applicant’s family financial needs for desired education. Other factors for the award consideration may be academic performance, participation in community services, youth activities, etc.

Our attempt is to encourage young people to develop a strong sense of responsibility for the need to contribute to our society in the area of education and community services.

This much needed project is supported by generous contributions from our community members and as an administrator of the program THTCCB would like our youth to take its full advantage.

Hindu History: Vyasa

Vyasa, who compiled the four Vedas into their current format, is also credited with writing the Mahabharata, a book four times the length of the Christian Bible, and the 18 Puranas, many of which are over four hundred pages long. Cooler heads believe that although there probably was an original Vyasa involved in collecting the Vedas, his name was later applied to other men and women who authored or edited voluminous sacred texts.
